Eco Tech Dual Probe Digital Thermometer

Watch both ends of the gradient at once. The Eco Tech Dual Probe Digital Thermometer monitors two temperatures on one clear display – put one probe at the basking spot and one at the cool end, and you'll always know your reptile has a proper thermal gradient to move between.

Key features
  • Two remote probes, one display – monitor basking and cool zones simultaneously instead of moving a single probe back and forth
  • 90 cm probe cables – reach across most standard enclosures without extension leads
  • Battery powered – runs on a single AAA battery for simple, cordless mounting
  • The quickest way to verify heater and thermostat performance – confirms what's actually happening at animal height, not just at the heat source

Power source 1 x AAA battery (not included)
Display Digital, dual-zone readout
Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suited to any reptile or amphibian enclosure where you want to confirm both the hot and cool ends of the thermal gradient, rather than trust the number on the heat source alone. It's a monitoring tool, not a controller – it won't switch a heat source off if the temperature runs high, so it doesn't replace a thermostat.

Common questions

Does it come with a battery?

No – it takes a single AAA battery, which isn't included.

How far apart can the two probes be placed?

Each probe has a 90 cm cable, so placement is limited to that reach from the display unit unless you position the display centrally between the two zones.

Can I use this instead of a thermostat?

No. It reads and displays temperature only – it doesn't control a heat source. Pair it with a thermostat if you need automatic temperature control as well as monitoring.

Will it work in an aquarium as well as a terrarium?

We only have confirmed data on its use for reptile and amphibian enclosures, so we can't state aquarium submersible ratings – check with us before using it in water.
