The Exo Terra Bamboo Forest Habitat Kit comes with all the components necessary for a successful start.
All components are based on the knowledge gathered during years of research in the Madagascar bamboo forests.
The ingenious Exo Terra Natural Terrarium with the researched bamboo ornament and background will provide the ideal micro habitat for a variety of species.
The Bamboo Forest Habitat Kit for reptiles and amphibians is a direct result of the years of research in the Madagascar bamboo forests. Over the past few years, the Exo Terra research team, led by Emmanuel Van Heygen, has thoroughly documented the species that occur in this micro habitat and its micro climatological properties.
The team also noticed that many of the reptiles, especially day geckos, “milk” insects for food. These special insects release a certain amount of sugary nutritious secretion extracted from the bamboo leaves and poles. Food can be placed in a special cavity in one of the Bamboo poles in the included bamboo ornament to mimic this.

The special bamboo ornament in this kits ensures that the reptiles and amphibians housed in this kit have secure hiding places, a food station and always water available in the numerous cavities incorporated in this very specific ornament. The smooth surface of both the bamboo background and ornament provide the perfect vertical dwelling surface for a number of species, especially geckos and frogs, just like in nature.

Complimentary Delivery for Orders Exceeding $150
Indeed, we offer complimentary delivery for purchases exceeding $150. However, it is important to note that this does not apply to heavy or large bulky items, or any livestock. For products that are not deemed bulky or heavy, you will see a notice stating "This item qualifies for FREE SHIPPING." Remember, even if an individual item is eligible for free shipping, your total order must exceed $150 to benefit from this offer. The choice of courier service for complimentary shipping is at the discretion of The Nick's Aquarium.
To minimize prices, we offer fixed $12.50 shipping costs for dry goods under $150 only around Australia.

Dispatch times are generally 24-48 hours after an order is processed and packed (special order items may take up to 7 days to be dispatched from the store or warehouse). The freight company cannot deliver to Australia Post-owned buildings - post offices, PO boxes, locked bags, parcel lockers, or parcel collect locations.
Livestock sent with road freight are only shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to ensure they are delivered before the weekend. Air freight orders are sent on Thursday nights only for pick-up on Friday mornings unless other arrangements have been made. (Note: Livestock cannot be sent with Australia Post.)

Returns
All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply. Our goods come with guarantees Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you Change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a Major problem. This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will Compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time You can choose a refund or replacement.
